The Tabletop Group
Our brief was to handle both the trade and consumer PR across all the Tabletop Company’s brands. This involved building brand awareness for The Tabletop Company, Mason Cash and TG Green and the launch of Three Wishes gift collection following a re-branding exercise.
The business to business strategy was focussed around the placement of news and product stories in the trade publications, which were supported by paid for editorial around key buying periods. We arranged for a feature on The Tabletop Company’s acquisition of TG Green and Mason Cash to appear in Progressive Housewares. Key personnel were offered for comment on industry related issues and we arranged for quotes to be used in regular features on current trends. The Three Wishes launch was supported by a feature placed in Gift Focus, which included an interview and exclusive photos of the new collection.
The consumer strategy was devised to increase the consumers’ awareness of the brands and to drive sales through their stockists and their website. The brands were promoted to the homes and interiors, wedding and food media with the offer of photography, samples available for use in programmes or photo shoots and reader offers and competitions.

The Mingles range was used regularly on Sky Three's Taste, and Ready Steady Cook on BBC 2, whilst a selection of Three Wishes product was used as props on Channel 4’s Cook Yourself Thin.
Coverage of Mason Cash products appeared in the housewares trade press, the homes and interiors magazines, the home sections of the women’s consumer magazines and has appeared on Ready Steady Cook on BBC2, Cook Yourself Thin on Channel 4 and on ITV’s Coastal Kitchen.
Coverage for Cornish Ware by TG Green appeared in a broad cross section of media including national newspapers, homes and interiors magazines, women’s consumer press and the housewares trade press. We also secured a 4 page feature in BBC Homes & Antiques on the reintroduction of TG Green’s Domino pattern
