We were retained by Seaton Gifts between 2016 – 2020 to manage their social media activity, email marketing campaigns, website updates and provide general PR and marketing assistance.
Seaton Gifts is a family run online retail business based in rural Northamptonshire. In addition to their online activities they have a pop up shop at The Showroom Presents, Fulham Broadway, London, and supply Coton Manor Gardens, Althorp, The Hayrack Gallery and Deene Park with products for their gift shops. They also attend large equestrian events such as the Badminton Horse Trials and the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, and various Christmas Charity Fairs across the country.
Through our social media activity we have helped to increase their numbers of followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and ultimately drive traffic to their website. The increase in social media followers was achieved through ensuring that they were regularly posting engaging content and keeping their followers updated with happenings withing the business. We were also tasked with using social media to drive sales on their website. One of the key ways we did this was by setting up shoppable posts that enabled Seaton Gifts’ followers on Instagram and Facebook to click on a product post and be taken directly to their website and purchase the product shown. In the first month that this was activated their website sales quadrupled. ShrewdPR also advised on Seaton Gifts’ move from Tictail to Shopify for their online store, this has had a number of benefits but in particular it has enabled better tracking of their email marketing campaigns.
